Make Sales Easier

By Coach Laine

Sales can be exhausting.

Does this sound familiar? You find a buyer and build rapport, knowing that what you have can help them. You pull out all the tricks you have learned about sales and still...nothing. They don't buy.

We exert so much of our emotional energy on one or two potential buyers who we know are the ”perfect” customer. Listen to Coach Laine...they are not the perfect customer.

Why? Because a customer who is great for your product won't require five months of your time.  Instead, keep them in the pipeline, but move on, take your time and energy to the tens of thousands of people who are actually waiting to hear from you.

We make sales too hard. We waste too much time on certain prospects. Today there are scores of others who are searching for a product like yours, but you are too busy fussing over the non-buyer, and for nothing. It's time to change focus.

Remember, you can spend five months on one customer who never buys, or one week on ten who do.  Be persistent, but don't be distracted. It's good to identify the difference.

If you are a sales professional who could use a boost, send us a message and we'll get you connected to a coach who will help you stay focused on the right buyers.

A Powerful Interview Tip

By Coach Louanne

End your job interview with a bang.

Remember, this is where you will cement your final impression on the interviewer. This is your time to shine and stand out above the rest.

One thing the interviewee rarely does is ask for the job.  But, you must! It lets the interviewer know that you really want the position. It shows initiative and confidence.

It's simple, all you have to say is "I would be a great asset to your team and I would be honored to have this position.”

You would be amazed at how many employers have said that they selected their candidate because they literally asked for the job.

How Your Past Can Boost Your Future Success

By Coach Sean

We can all be guilty of looking for the best, new thing. Sometimes, that’s necessary.  However, time and experience can be excellent teachers for us!

People often think about how experience helps you avoid bad mistakes, but your previous experience can also show you how to be successful in your present situation.

One researcher said that “When we recall victories from winning strategies, positive behavior is reinforced. The dopamine release builds confidence and increases the chances the person will make quick, clear decisions when faced with similar situations.”

We are wired to learn from our successes, perhaps even more than from our mistakes. The next time you find yourself stuck in a rut and desperately trying to gain momentum on a project, ask yourself, “what has worked for me in the past?”

So often we forget those strategies, ideas, and rhythms that have made us successful. Maybe it was a particular work process, instead of always trying to reinvent the process, ask yourself, “what has helped me before?” You may be surprised at how your past successes can translate into present victories!

Increase Your Success Rate by 42%

By Coach Sean

Set yourself up for success.

One big reason many people don’t actually reach their goals is because they haven’t spent the time or energy to really identify their goals—so they don’t really know where they need to go!

Many of us might answer the question of what our goal is with something like, “well, I want to be successful in this role.”

What does success in your role mean? Is it about a certain dollar amount? Percentage of growth? Maybe success would be measured by lower stress and more joy.

The answer to that question for you will greatly impact what you do, and how you do it.  Take the time to craft measurable, definitive goals, and then, write them down!

One study shows that people who write down their goals are 42% more likely to reach them! That’s incredible!

Write that list of goals down and  keep that list in a place you’ll see it often and be reminded of what really matters. That list can also help keep you focusing your time and energy on those things that align with your goals instead of pouring yourself into busy work that isn’t taking you where you want to go.
