Avoiding Burnout

Your work isn't burning you out. It's a lack of variety in your life.

Burnout is a legitimate thing; it has its own medical code. In the coaching world this is something we hear about every day.  It’s rampant.  The good news is, there are solutions.

There are two main things that cause burnout: stress at work, or boredom. Today we are addressing the latter.

You need something that excites you. When we try things that are either challenging and new, or get involved in an old hobby that we’ve rediscovered, it reinvigorates us.It gives us the power that we need to improve in all areas of our lives. All of a sudden, the mundane doesn't feel so mundane because we see it through a different lens.

What are you doing to break out of the mundane? You don't want to feel burnt out, you don't want to feel stress, and the beautiful thing is that you have control over that.

Take control over this today and pick something that's new and exciting in your life.
